Yesterday I went to Boston
And walked streets of Allston,
Harvard, Commonwealth and Brighton.
I thought of you, a ton.

There’s a new Starbucks!
Our liquor store shrunk!
And that bar, you know,
Where we got drunk,
Well that’s different now.

But not different enough.

I saw us everywhere.
I saw that day
in the park
in the rain
when I lost you.
I still hear what you said.
Get out of my head.
Boston is dead.
